How to delete files via my files:
Step 1: Open my files
Step 2: Right click on any file you want to remove from your Chromebook and select delete option.
Don't forget that Chrome OS doesn't have recycle bin that's why you won't be able to recover your deleted files and your files will permanently removed.

Step 1: Open my files
Step 2: Open location of images where it originally placed if it placed on downloaded folder just open them and delete that images.
How to delete Downloads on Chromebook
